Narrators
A narrator is, within any story, the person who conveys the story to the audience. It can be literary work, audiobook, play, etc. It is the author's function to create a story that is ready to be conveyed to the audience. The Narrator’s function is to read the story to the audience (be it reader, listener or other) in such a way that evokes the passion, thrill, sadness, description, argumentation, conflict or whatever the author is portraying in his or her story.
As a means of summing up, the act or process of telling the particulars of a story is referred to as narration.

Introducing - Anne Schonhardt

Anne has spent her life moving back and forth between St. Louis, MO and Minneapolis, MN, but hopes to spend the remainder of her life in St. Louis where her family is. Given the amount of time she has spent in each place, she feels comfortable doing both a North-Midwestern and a South-Midwestern accent. However, she speaks naturally without any recognizable accents. Her natural speaking voice is soft and easy on the ears. Anne can also read in Spanish.
Anne has been a teacher since she got out of college, and enjoys reading aloud to children. She is especially fond of opportunities to evoke humor, wonderment, and suspense. She can do the voices of different characters in stories, ranging from very old to very young, male or female.
Anne is a self-proclaimed life-long learner and is always taking classes to learn new things. She loves the outdoors and enjoys tennis, rollerblading, hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, and four-wheeling. Among her many volunteering experiences, she has narrated parts of a story for Librivox.org.
As well as recording for us here at Sapphire and Charlie Horse Publishing, Anne has a profile on Voices123.com. She can do voice over work in commercials, promos, IVR, voice mails, phone systems and on-hold messaging services, podcasts, training, business presentations, plus sales and website voice-work. Anne is also very much at home doing narration work for audiobooks, documentaries, video games and trailers, TV shows and movie trailers. She is willing to try any challenges that come her way!
